Free parking is available to all patients of the James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center Mountain Home, Tennessee.
Patients and visitors should park in Parking Lots L, N, O, B, and part of Lot A. Patient/Visitor Lots are identified by signs and located in close proximity to the Main Hospital Complex and Domiciliary. Construction Update
At the present time ongoing construction projects do not have a serious impact on parking or the traffic flow.
We are continually looking at ways to improve and increase parking accessibility to our patients, visitors, and staff. Current projects involve adding new parking in the Fiscal Year 2009.
Handicapped Parking
Handicapped parking is available in all Patient/Visitor Lots and other areas.
Valet Parking
Free valet parking service for patients is available 7:00 am to 5:00 pm weekdays (excluding federal holidays) at the Mountain Home campus. This service is designed for patients reporting to the Mountain Home VA campus for treatment to include scheduled appointments, blood draws, or pharmacy pick-up.
The valet station is located in the circle area between Building 160 (Primary Care) and Building 69. Patients who wish to use the service should follow the circle to the valet attendant, present your vehicle keys, receive a claim ticket and proceed inside for your medical appointment. Please be prepared to provide the attendant with either your appointment letter or your VA patient identification card.
To retrieve your vehicle, turn in your claim ticket to the valet station. Your vehicle will be returned to you in the area where it was dropped off. If you have not picked up your vehicle before 5:00 pm, please go the Emergency Room check-in desk and you will be assisted. Vehicles will be parked in a gated lot (Lot N).
Tipping the attendant is not permitted. The contractor is required to carry insurance to cover potential damage to vehicles.
Security
The James H. Quillen VAMC police Police Officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots. For general police assistance, please dial 7197. In case of an emergency, dial 2911. Please report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible.
